Wind Turbine Demolition

Engineered windmill demolition, felling and foundation removal.

When turbines are beyond repurposing, Power Demolition delivers engineered wind turbine demolition — windmill demolition — that brings towers down safely and clears the site for its next use. Depending on site conditions we use crane-assisted dismantling or controlled felling, followed by complete foundation removal and recycling.

Wind turbine demolition is a heavy, high-hazard operation: tall steel towers, large rotating components and deep reinforced foundations. Our demolition engineers plan every takedown, and our recycling program recovers the steel and copper that make wind demolition cost-effective.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you fell turbines or dismantle them?

Both. We select crane-assisted dismantling or engineered controlled felling based on site conditions, surrounding hazards and recovery goals.

Do you remove the foundations too?

Yes. Our scope includes complete removal of the reinforced concrete foundations and full site reclamation when required.
